Island City Stage

Island City Stage is the award-winning, professional regional theatre whose mission is to produce theatrical experiences that positively impact the LGBT and general community. In just a few short years, Island City Stage has become a highly regarded cultural resource producing a combination of cutting edge plays being given their regional premieres, Broadway and Off-Broadway successes and, most importantly new plays, many of which are then presented around the country. In the Spring of 2017 the play the Carbonell Award-winning play “Daniel’s Husband”, which premiered at Island City Stage in 2015, will be seen Off-Broadway at the well known Primary Stages.
